The Doa Yatim Foundation (YDY) once again held its annual social initiative, the 23rd *Amaliyah Ramadhan* (Ramadan Charity Event), at the Graha Widya Wisuda (GWW) building at IPB University, Bogor, on Sunday afternoon (March 15, 2026). During the event, 1,000 aid packages were distributed to orphans, and 650 packages were given to the underprivileged as a gesture of social care during the holy month.

Aditya Anggara, Chairman of the Doa Yatim Foundation, stated that this event reflects the foundation’s consistent commitment, which has been ongoing for over two decades. “We have been holding *Amaliyah Ramadhan* for 23 years, since 2003. Beyond this major event, we run short-term programs every Friday in Sinarwangi Village, Tenjolaya, as well as a monthly food donation drive,” said Aditya.
In addition to distributing aid packages, YDY runs various programs to support the well-being of orphans, ranging from group outings to the provision of school supplies. According to Aditya, these programs serve as a reminder to remain caring toward others.
As part of the event, preacher Umi Pipik delivered a sermon on the meaning of happiness found in sharing. She emphasized that the deed most beloved by Allah SWT is bringing happiness to others.

“A successful person is one who achieves a good end (*husnul khotimah*)—someone whose passing is mourned by many because Allah loves them. This act of charity is also a pathway to Paradise; doing good deeds pleases Allah,” said Umi Pipik.
The 23rd *Amaliyah Ramadhan* served not only as a platform for distributing material aid but also as an opportunity to reinforce values of social solidarity. The presence of religious figures, local officials, and the general public demonstrates that the spirit of mutual cooperation during the holy month remains alive and continues to be passed down.
